Paintrz generates visual previews of surfaces in a chosen paint color, using an AI image model. The result is an illustration produced by software. It is not a color proof, a paint specification, or a promise about how paint will look once applied. Lighting, surface texture, primer, sheen, number of coats, and the screen you are looking at all change the outcome.
Do not rely on a Paintrz preview as the sole basis for buying paint or committing to a color. Check a physical sample.
You keep ownership of your photos and of the renders made from them. We do not claim them.
You give us a limited license to store your photos and process them for the purpose of producing your renders — which includes sending them to our image-generation provider, as described in the Privacy Policy. That license exists so the product can work, and for nothing else.
We do not use your photos or renders in marketing without asking you first and getting your agreement in writing.
You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo, and that uploading it does not breach anyone else’s privacy or copyright. Don’t upload photos of people, or anything unlawful, offensive, or that you don’t have permission to use.
Finished renders are stored at web addresses that are hard to guess but not password protected. That is deliberate — it is what lets you send a render to a customer without making them sign in. Treat a render link like an unlisted link: anyone you give it to, and anyone they pass it to, can open it.
A guest link lets a homeowner run renders on their own phone, billed to your account, for a limited time and a limited number of renders. If you create one:
Paintrz is sold as subscription plans and as one-off credit packs. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
You can cancel at any time, from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then, and we don’t bill you again.
Our refund policy, plainly:
Outside those windows we are not obliged to refund, but we would rather hear from you than have you raise a dispute with your bank. Email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
Don’t: resell access to Paintrz as your own service, script or automate the product to generate renders in bulk, attempt to bypass credit limits or guest-link caps, probe our systems, or upload content that is unlawful or infringes someone else’s rights.
We may suspend an account that does these things. If we suspend you and you were paying, we will refund the unused part of your current period.
We aim to keep Paintrz running but do not promise uninterrupted service. The product depends on third parties — hosting, storage, payments, and an image-generation provider — and an outage at any of them can stop renders. We do not offer a service level guarantee.
You can close your account at any time. When you do, your photos and renders are deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy. Unused credits are forfeited on closure, so spend or download before you go.
We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where it is reasonable to give it.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: Paintrz is provided as is; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or the cost of paint, labour or rework arising from a color decision made using a preview; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Paintrz after that means you accept the change.
