Each brand's best sellers, with the real name and code, so the paint counter mixes exactly what you saw on your wall.
The store hands you one brand's deck. The counter can mix a color from almost any brand's deck into the paint you actually want. Bring the name and the code, and shop the whole wall of colors, not the one rack.
One fan deck holds about 1,700 colors. The Ultimate Color Book holds every deck from 25 brands, side by side, so the right gray is in there even when it is not in the deck you were handed.
Found the color in one brand and buy paint from another? The Ultimate Color Book shows the closest colors in every other deck, with the codes to take to the counter.
Pick the color for the look and the paint for the job. A cross-brand match is close, not identical, so ask the counter to mix a sample of the one you land on.
Four favorites, and their closest match in four other brands, straight from the catalogue.
On the couch, at the wall, in the store. No signal needed after the first open.
Free, from your browser. Add it to your home screen and it works like an app.
Search by name, code or a description like "warm greige". Every brand, 51,000+ colors.
Tap a chip and it fills the screen. Check it against the trim, the floor and the couch. Compare up to three.
Take a photo of the room and see it in that color. Share it with whoever else gets a vote.
Pick a room and a color. A sample pot costs $10 to $15 and shows one square foot; this shows the whole room. These three rooms are ours, so you can try it without signing up. Your own room takes a free account and one tap.
Previews are illustrations produced by an image model, not color-matched proofs. Always check a physical sample before buying paint.
Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Behr, PPG, Valspar, Dunn-Edwards and 19 more. Hover a chip.
Share the render and the color's brand, name and code go in the message, so any painter buys exactly what you saw. If your painter uses Paintrz, they can render the whole house with you, on the spot, during the estimate.
Yes. The Ultimate Color Book, every brand, search, full-screen chips and compare are free, with no time limit. A free account adds favorites and 10 renders of your own photos. Want more? A pack of 20 is $5, whenever you like.
No app store. Open it in your phone's browser and choose "Add to Home Screen". It gets an icon and opens full screen like any app, and it keeps working with no signal.
Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Behr, PPG, Valspar, Dunn-Edwards, Glidden, Farrow & Ball and 17 more: 25 brands, 51,000+ colors, each with its real name and code so you can buy exactly what you saw.
Almost always. Paint counters match colors across brands every day, from the code or from a scan of a chip. Take the brand, name and code from the Ultimate Color Book to the counter and ask for it in the paint line you want. Ask for a sample first when the match matters, since a cross-brand match is close rather than identical.
Screens vary, so treat the chip as a close guide and the photo render as an illustration. For the final decision, buy one sample of the color you chose here instead of six of the ones you were deciding between.
Yes. Nobody sees a photo or a render unless you share it. Original photos are deleted after 90 days and renders after 12 months, as the privacy policy says. You can close the account any time.
Ten, free, on your own photos. Enough to settle a room or the front of the house, and each render can carry up to three colors, so trim, walls and door count as one. Want more? Packs of 10 are $2.50, whenever you like.
The Ultimate Color Book is, and it is free on every plan. The paid Paintrz plans add your logo on every render, guest links for the homeowner's phone, and a leads inbox. See Paintrz for painters.
