Estimates: the sheet you build is the sheet they get
What it is
An estimate is a white sheet with your letterhead. What you type on it is exactly what the customer receives: Prepared for, the project, an intro, the colors and renders from the job, the lines, totals, notes and terms. Numbers are EST-0001, EST-0002 per account.
How to
- Estimates tab → New estimate (with a job selected it is pre-filled with the customer).
- Add lines: Add service from the rate sheet, Add material from the price book, Measure & add from dimensions, or type a blank line and save it to the book after. Tap a color chip or a render to put it on the sheet.
- Send to customer emails a link (paintrz.com/e/…). They open it, see the sheet and the pictures, and tap Accept & sign or decline. You get an email either way and the status changes on the job.
- Preview & PDF prints it. Save as template keeps a whole estimate to start from next time; Duplicate copies one.
Which plan
Every plan.
When it goes wrong
Viewed with no answer for a few days shows up on Today under Needs you - send it again with a note. A customer who declined can be sent a revised one: edit and send again. An accepted estimate cannot be edited; duplicate it for a change order.
