Your first render in five minutes
What it is
A render is the customer's own photo with the paint changed and nothing else. It takes about ten seconds and looks like their room, not a catalog picture.
When to use it
The first time you open Paintrz, and every estimate after that: on the driveway, in the kitchen, at the counter.
How to
- Tap Take a photo or Choose from library. One wall, a run of cabinets or a house front, in daylight if you can.
- Under What to paint, type the surface: "cabinets", "walls and trim", "front door".
- Pick up to three colors. Search by name, code or description ("sage green"), or tap a brand and browse.
- Tap Generate render. The photo sits under a shimmer while it works, then the finished picture lands with a before/after handle.
- Drag the handle to compare. Download or Share it, or fix it with a correction.
Which plan
Every plan, including Free. A contractor's Free account gives 10 renders in the first 30 days and 5 a month after that; a homeowner account gives 10 renders, then packs of 10 for $2.50.
When it goes wrong
If the render fails, the credit or allowance render is refunded automatically. See The render failed or is stuck. If the result looks close but not right, see Corrections.
