Estimate visits and online booking

What it is

An estimate visit is the appointment before the paint days: the walk-through. It lives on the job under Schedule, goes on your Google Calendar when connected, and the customer gets a reminder the day before and an hour ahead. Online booking is a public page - paintrz.com/book/your-name - where a homeowner picks a day and a time from the hours you set; it files them under Clients & jobs, books the visit and emails you both.

How to

• On the job → Schedule → Book a visit: day, time, length, a note the customer sees.
• Settings → Online booking: choose your address (letters and dashes), the days and hours you take visits, how long one takes, and a line for the page. Copy the link onto your website, your Google Business profile, your truck.
• A booked visit shows on Today with a Visit chip; after it passes, a lead with no estimate shows under Needs you.

When it goes wrong

That time was just taken on the booking page means two people picked the same slot; the second sees the next free one. A visit booked before you connected Google Calendar goes on the calendar the next time you save it.
